Vice President, Middle Office Transformation Accounting Oversight Greater Santa Ana, CA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead accounting oversight for a middle-office transformation program. The role will define target-state accounting requirements, guide workstreams, and assess whether redesigned processes and systems meet stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include overseeing testing and issue resolution, advising on complex accounting and policy questions, and producing executive-ready program updates. The successful candidate will coordinate operational readiness, user acceptance testing, training, and controls across teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, or a related field, and at least 10 years of relevant experience in investment accounting, middle-office operations, fund administration, or performance reporting; an MBA is desirable. Strong knowledge of fixed-income and derivative accounting, especially income and yield, is required, along with an understanding of investment activity, trade operations, and accounting outcomes. Applicants should have led major technology migrations or transformations and be experienced in using data, automation, and systems to improve processes. Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and organizational skills are essential; CPA and/or CFA credentials are preferred.
